Press kit Climate Case against Shell

In 2018 Friends of the Earth Netherlands announced a historical lawsuit against Shell. Shell causes dangerous climate change and this has to stop.

There are 6 other organisations and more than 17.000 co-plaintiffs involved. On 1, 3, 15 and the 17th of december 2020 the session days took place in the court of The Hague. The verdict was on May 26th at 15:00 CET.
