Shareholders are growingly sceptical on Shell's policies, board doesn´t seem to take the climate crisis seriously

London, May 24 2022 - Nine de Pater, Lead campaigner Friends of the Earth Netherlands was in London to follow the AGM and to speech at the demonstration prior to the Shell shareholders meeting.

"Today we clearly saw that Shell is not taking the climate crisis seriously, that they don't comply to the verdict and thereby keep on endangering human lives. The differences between the concerns raised by shareholders as well as activist and the views of the member of the board of Shell could not be bigger. We at Friends of the Earth Netherlands are happy to see that shareholders are being more sceptical towards Shell's vague and insufficient climate ambitions."
