Shell has no fewer than 30 new oil and gas fields in the Netherlands, both onshore and offshore. This is according to our latest research in collaboration with Global Witness.
By drilling for new oil and gas fields, Shell is worsening the climate crisis. Shell may even start drilling on the edge of the Dutch World Heritage Site, de Waddenzee, a globally protected nature reserve. For the climate, every new oil or gas field is one too many.
